Wednesday 22nd March - Damn Tripod I am planning a move to another host quite soon because of the speed and unreliability of Tripod. The move might be quite soon, could be on this weekend. yesterday's update was not working, so I had to RE-UPLOAD everything again -_-;;. I didn't add anything today because I have some homework that I need to take care of before I can update lots but it's unlikely that I will finish at 8:30. I will upload all of the member fact files this weekend. Be looking forward to another one of my guides quite soon. Clan ladder will be added next week as I haven't started work on it yet. 7:15 (Update): WTF?? The site is supposed to be displayed in Arial but for some reason it's displayed in Times new Roman. I am looking into the coding for the problem Tuesday 21st March - Tournament Coming up this Friday Yes, another clan tournament. Check the rules in the forums. I made some small changes to the site: Changed some typos on the news and members sections, Added new tournament to the tournament sections. Made 2 pages of member fact file (to be uploaded when all done so that no one can complain about it) and changed the webstats so that it's only on the main home page (this page) since it's getting a hit every time you go on one of the sections. That's it for today. Oh yeah, from now on I will update only on Wednesdays and Sundays, but I will update in between with small tweaks and major news. Sunday 20th March - Upload problems + Huge Update I have uploaded the update yesterday but I checked this morning and it wasn't changed? What is wrong with tripod? Well I hope this update works as I re-uploaded all the webpages to see if it works now. Site work: Deleted the crappy RetroStats thing and replaced it with a more reliable web stats service (THX 2 StatCounter ^^). Uploaded the links section of the site. Tweaked the members page and rankings, uploaded 1 guide and changed guides page a bit. Deleted the Half-Life logo and replaced it with the steam logo, added some small tweaks to make the page load quicker for those without broadband connections (It takes about 30 seconds to load on 56k instead of 50+ seconds). Changed it so the hit counter is on every page. Fixed the guides graphic on the menu displaying as the logo in the actual page. Removed "Webmaster - Bob" after every updated news item. Uploaded race logos but not used yet, uploaded background midi files but not used, etc...Post other ideas and suggestions in the forums. Phew... what a big update... Friday 19th March - Arnold wins tournament!! The tournament finished yesterday and the winner is Arnold, 2nd place is taken by Bob and 3rd 4th (Joseph or Pierre) places are to be decided by the 3rd 4th place match taking place on Friday 25th March. I have updated the tournaments page with the results (not all of it as I can't remember all of it, I need Arnold to send me the results). The guides are due to be updated today but I have been a bit lazy and have forgotten to write them -_-, I might upload one guide today but the rest is certain to go up next week. We also have a new member, Daniel, his clan tag is: 'Lord_Pony.com' Don't ask me why, I know it sounds strange. Maybe I will finish the links page today but it all depends on how much time I have today. I have noticed that the RetroStats page is not working, I will try to get it working otherwise I will get another one. Update (12:20): I have changed the clan rankings on the members page Thursday 18th March - The Tournaments page is up The tournaments page is now up, I have made some minor adjustments to the site including uploading a zip file with all the maps instead of the downloads section with all the broken links. I also added Daniel to the members list since he's thinking of joining and is invited as a special guest to tomorrow's tournament. Wednesday 17th March - The Maps are up!!!! I have now completed the whole of the downloads section. Minor changes: Moved the site counter to the right so of page and added web stats. I will start making the member pages quite soon, the links and tournament pages will soon follow. Update (8:00PM): added the tournaments and links pictures, pages will be uploaded as soon as I finish them. Monday 15th March - Downloads are up + upcoming tournament The downloads are officially up, I have been informed by Arnold that the next clan tournament is on Friday this week, since it's a staff training day, we can play the tournament for the whole day ^^. Read the thread for the info about it. Update (8:30PM): added the webcounter (thanks to www.digits.com), 50+ hits is w00t for this site! ^^ Sunday 14th March - All site pages are up... well almost That's right... all of the essential pages for the site are up now! I am adding Tournament and Links sections, a site counter, a guestbook and individual sections for each member in the next week. The download section files will be uploads quite soon, maybe on Wednesday perhaps. Hope you like the site. BTW, if you are a clan member and you have not posted in the official members thread please do so. Wednesday 10th March - Site is finally updated!!!! Most of the site is up now, including the forums and the guides sections. I will probably finish the rest when I have some more free time on my hands. As for the clan members, please post in the forums to show that you are an active member. Hope you like the site, if you discover any broken links then post them in the site tread in the forums.
